Award Points

Award points are an obsolete feature of early versions of Foldit.

Historical description of award points[]

Award points are gained by completing the Tutorial Puzzles and by unlocking personal achievements on your profile page. The number of points awarded is based on your skill level and the difficulty of the task that was completed. Awards points may be stored and later invested on in-game bonuses, and team perks, such as Oracle, and Peekaboo.
